REASI: In a simple but impressive function, Tehsildar Thakrakote, Rajesh Baru, handed over a cheque of rupees fifty one thousand as Red Cross Contribution to Ravinder Kumar, Deputy Commissioner (Chairman District Red Cross Society) Reasi.
On the occasion, Tehsildar Thakrakote along with Niab Tehsildar and other staff members presented the cheque in the Office Chamber of Dy. Commissioner Reasi in which Abdul Sattar, ACR (Secretary, District Red Cross Society) Reasi, District Social Welfare Officer, Reasi among others were also present on the occasion. It is pertinent to mention here that Tehsildar Rajesh Baru some seven months earlier has also presented a cheque worth rupees one lakh to the then Deputy Commissioner Reasi Sushma Chauhan.
Ravinder Kumar congratulated Rajesh Baru and his team members for this commendable job who within a short span of one year made a handsome contribution of Rs. one lakh and fifty one thousands to District Red Cross Society from this far flung, backward and hilly Tehsil of District Reasi.
