JAMMU: The second day of teachers’ workshop in the JK Public School commenced with prayer and an hour long aerobics session which was followed with another hour of relaxing yoga by teachers.
The interactive session was organised by Principal S.K Singh who organised task-based activity on National Curriculum Framework-2005 for the teachers where teachers were divided in groups.
Each group was given different topics and were asked to collectively work to showcase their understanding of the different points like perspective of National Curriculum Framework, learning of knowledge, curricular areas, school stages and assessment, school and classroom environment and systematic reforms.
He said that if there is learning then there is teaching. He emphasised on teaching learning process to be made more effective.
Finally a reflective session was organised to ensure that each facilitator has inculcated the purpose of NCF-2005 and will be able to enhance the teaching learning process more effectively. To sum up, the collective efforts of the teachers was greatly appreciated by the Principal S.K Singh which brought the second day to an end.
