POUNI: Teachers of Pouni Zone in district Reasi has hailed the posting of Gopal Krishan Sharma (National Awardee) and acclaimed Dogri poet as Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Pouni.
Anwar Hussain Choudhary, Zonal Education Planning Officer (ZEPO) Pouni while presenting welcome address focused on the achievements and contributions of newly posted ZEO as a member of teaching fraternity and renowned Dogri poet for which he has been honoured by various prestigious agencies and ultimately Government of India. Anwar also expressed it to be a matter of pride to work with such luminary and assured all cooperation and coordination for the smooth functioning of education in Pouni Zone.
Gopal Krishan appealed the teaching community to work with dedication, sincerity and honesty to maintain the respect for the noble profession and stressed to aware the rural community regarding various benefits of prevailing schemes of the government.
Sanjeev Kumar Sharma conducted the proceedings of the programme while vote of thanks was presented by Daleep Kumar.
Among others who spoke on the occasion included Manjeet Singh, Mohinder Dass, Yadav Nath, Vinod Kumar, Daleep Kumar, Garru Ram, Sanjeev Kumar and Vinod Kumar.
