UDHAMPUR: Teachers engaged with Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidayala on Saturday observed pen down strike demanding regularisation. It is pertinent to mention here that the school is serving SC/ST/weaker section girls and functioning from 2007. A large number of students are taking education upto 8th class. For this school, teachers on the basis of ReT have been appointed since the day of opening. Nine years have passed but the teachers have not been regularised. To express the resentment teachers today observed pen down strike and appealed to State Government to regularise them as per SSA norms.
