Teachers Forum hails induction of Bukhari as Education Minister

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) hailed the induction of Syed Altaf Bukhari in the Education Department and hoped that steps to release the pay of teachers shall be given priority so that there would be no foul play with the honour self respect and future of their children.
In the session held here on Sunday, Chairman JKTF, Abdul Qayoom Wani said “The Education Minister shall garner all his capabilities for initiating concrete steps to bring reform in the department. Since the department was passing through uncertainty for the last two years as choking of ethical values, playing with honor of teachers, politicising future of students and backing of officers having wolves nature and morally corrupt had caused a great damage to the department. So it is the need of the hour to a refresh and make the department child centered, restoration of ethical values and cleaning the department from corruption and political intervention by revealing the State’s education policies and restoring the dignity honour of teachers and other employees working in the Department.”
Wani said that Teacher’s Forum shall lend its full support in bringing reforms in the department and for the bright future of the students.
Wani said that we are hopeful that Education Minister shall keep in view the pulse and sensitivity of the department and put in all his capabilities to brighten the future of students and reforming the department shall be the priorities and shall improve the image and will leave no stone unturned to improve the department.
