Teachers conduct welcome assembly at JKPS Kunjwani

JAMMU: Extending a very warm welcome to students on the re-opening day of the school, Vice Principal Roopinder Kaur welcomed the students and advised them to be responsible for their actions.
She emphasized that students must groom themselves holistically under the guidance of their teachers and perform their best to bring laurels to themselves, their School and their teachers. It is the conduct of its students which makes every Institution contribute to the nation building process and strengthen the society. The assembly commenced with the school prayer by teachers with a perfect rhythm and intonation, which enthralled the audience with its high standard of credentials. It was followed by thought for the day by Kamna Sharma and History of the Day by Harneet Kour.
To enhance the knowledge of the students and teachers, a few interesting Science facts were shared by Gurjeet Kour. Vocabulary of the Day in Hindi and English was introduced by Ruchi Sharma and Tina Narula respectively. Meaning, synonyms, antonyms and usages of the word, both in Hindi and English, made the audience spell bound and filled the audience with admiration and pride for the teachers.
Order and discipline are an integral part of our daily lives and form an essential ingredient in the recipe for success. With this objective in mind, Arti Tikoo acquainted students with Do’s and Don’ts. To inculcate the value of responsibility among students, the pledge ceremony was conducted by the School Coordinator Inderjeet Kour. The audience took the pledge with a sense of responsibility and accountability.
While addressing the assembly Principal, Rajesh Rathore congratulated all the students on passing their previous class with flying colours.
He appealed all the students to utilize their time very judiciously, as 2 years of COVID-19 impacted their learning process adversely and they must slog to fill up the learning gaps in all the subjects.
He inspired them to improve their hand writing, polish their writing as well as verbal skills, strengthen their knowledge base and continuously evolve their better versions with every passing day.
He encouraged the students by reiterating the importance of holistic grooming during their school life.
He said, “Great Institutions are those, which produce an enlightened citizenry. Students of a progressive school understand the value of “balanced personality” and respond very positively to the system evolved by the Institution over the period of time.
Develop an empathetic approach and evolve a throbbing heart for the poor and downtrodden. Pass out from the portals of this great Institution as a competent, compassionate, creative and responsible global citizenry”.
Be positive, disciplined and dedicated was the happy refrain.
“The morning assembly reached its culmination point with the soulful recitation of the national anthem, followed by the loud chanting of “Bharat Mata ki Jai” thrice.
