Tamil Nadu BJP President calls on Jitendra

NEW DELHI: Tamil Nadu BJP State President Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan called on Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) and MoS PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh here along with other State leaders and discussed a wide range of issues related to various government departments as well as the current political scenario in the State.
Singh conveyed to Dr Tamilisai, the high priority that the Modi Government accords to equitable development of all the states and cited the instance of floods in Chennai last year when Prime Minister Narendra Modi had personally made a visit to the affected areas and also carried a team of doctors along with him.
He said, Tamil Nadu, being one of the most crucial States in South India, always remains in the focus of all the new central schemes and projects.
Lauding the dynamic approach of State President Dr Tamilisai, Dr Jitendra Singh observed, under the present State team, the BJP cadre in the State feel highly enthused and activated.
Dr Tamilisai discussed with Singh, the issue of Tamil Nadu cadre review of IAS officers and induction of State provincial service officers into IAS. She also extended to him the invitation to visit Tamil Nadu in near future for a BJP organisation programme.
Dr Tamilisai appreciated the accessibility with which Singh is always available to the Party leaders from Tamil Nadu and thanked him for the follow up and support offered by him in all the State related issues brought to his notice in the past.
She also handed over some representations and documents based on different issues currently confronting the State.
