Take KPs into confidence before starts any dialogue: ASKPC
STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) impressed upon all nationalist forces to show strong resentment against the Prime Minister who did not utter a single word about the victims of terrorism in the Valley. President ASKPC Advocate Ravinder Raina said that it was after a great difficulty and struggle that the Kashmiri migrant were given employment package paying way for the dignified return. The anti-Pandit forces have not sabotaged the whole process but have obliged Pandit employees to leave lock stock and barrel, he said.
While the Prime Minister was consoling and praising Kashmiri Muslims, talking about their welfare, providing laptop and books, the Pandit employees were watching this drama like a bird with broken wings not even a word of sympathy did Prime Minister utter at least for those young boys and girls who faced torture in camps in the Valley.
“This clearly showed that the policy for Kashmiri Pandits is not different as of PDP, NC, Congress and BJP. All parties play only one tune that is how to keep Kashmiri Muslims happy in Valley. Is this not ironical that Prime Minister is worried on account of Hartal in the Valley but he advertantly choose to remain silent on those humble migrant employees who are on Dharna for the last one month with Indian Flags in their hands,” he added.
This is quiet paradoxical that on one hand the persons who are burning Indian Flags throw grenades and kill Indian soldiers are taken care of and the person whose heart goes out for all Indian interests, both men and material are being ignored and left high and dry, he asserted.
ASKPC requested the Prime Minister to take Kashmiri Pandits into confidence before starts any dialogue with any organization who are directly or indirectly concerned with Kashmir affairs as Kashmir belongs to the aborigines of Kashmiri Pandits.
Others who expressed their similar views include Dr T.K Bhat General Secretary, C.L Bhat Vice President, Veena Gurtoo President Women Wing ASKPC, Ravi Raina President Youth Wing, S.K Raina and B.L Handoo.
