JAMMU: Tagore Memorial Higher Secondary School, Rani Talab, Digiana on Wednesday celebrated 44th Annual Day-cum-Prize Distribution Function, here.
Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary was the Chief Guest while Jeet Choudhary was the Guest of Honour who were welcomed by B.S Sambyal. The function was commenced by lighting the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. Gagandeep Kour read out the annual report highlighting the achievements of the school in academic as well as co-curricular activities throughout the years. A variety of cultural items were presented by the students and winners of various events were awarded. A student namely Sourav Saini who got 10th position in 8th class was awarded with cheque of Rs.10,000 from the Chairman of the School. G.S Bhatti, Chairman of the School presented the vote of thanks and advised the students to work hard for the ensuing Board Examination.
