JAMMU: Organised by the J&K Table Tennis association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council, Table Tennis summer camp from June 3 to 10, 2024 commenced on Monday at Indoor Sports Complex M.A Stadium Jammu with a vibrant opening ceremony, marking the beginning of a season filled with learning and unforgettable experience for all the budding paddlers.
The event began with a welcome speech by the organising team member, who highlighted the camp’s mission to foster the growth of table tennis in the UT of J&K.
The Chief Guest, Rajeev Sharma, President J&K Hockey Association and member J&K Sports Council, encouraged the young sports enthusiasts to give their best and leave no stone unturned in learning the new skills of the game from their coaches.
Baljinder Pal Sngh, Divisional Sports Officer J&K Sports Council was the Guest of Honour for the event and Satpal Singh, Manager Parade Ground was the Special Guest.
The camp shall be held under Asad Sharma, Table Tennis coach.
Prominent persons who were present includes Suraj Bhan (Manager Indoor Sports Complex), Satish Gupta, Table Tennis coach (Retd), Ajay Sharma, I.P Singh, Narinder Singh, Meenu Rajesh and Vasu Dewan.
