REASI: Govt. Degree College Budhal organised a symposium on ‘Importance of Bio Diversity and its conservation’ in the college premises on Wednesday. Principal of the College Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Raina presided over the function and delivered a presentation on the topic ‘An Ideal Environment’. Fifteen students of the college participated in the symposium in which Mohd Shabir bagged first position where as Layaqat Ali and Tahseen Akhter got second and third positions.
Earlier the function started with recitation of few verses of the Holy Quran by Tehasin Akhter and welcome address by Dr. Mohammad Ramzan (HoD Arabic).Prof. Yasir Butt, Prof. Priksha Raina and Prof. Manzoor Ali acted as jury members for the symposium. Prof Amendeep Jagral compiled the result.
Prof. Altaf Ahmed (HoD EVS) conducted the proceedings of the programme and also delivered presentation on the topic where as Dr. Mohd Sajar (HoD Persian) presented formal vote of thanks. Prof. Mohd Aslam, PTI Muddasir Ahamad Dar , Azhar Malik and Mushtaq Ahmed assisted the programme.
