UDHAMPUR: Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Udhampur, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Govt. of India is celebrating Swachhta Fortnight from August 1 to 15, 2017 to pay tributes to Bapu on his 151st Birth Anniversary by accelerating the youth led movements for freedom from filthiness across India with the spirit of voluntarism and voluntary action.
On Friday, pledge was taken by national youth volunteers that every youth shall devote their 100 hours for cleanliness. After pledge intensive cleaning of village grounds, rally on cleanliness at Panchari , Jaganoo, Sewna by NYV and different youth clubs was undertaken.
