REASI: As a part of the two week long Swachh Bharat drive beginning on 14th march, 2016 at all the locations of NHPC Limited including Salal Power Station, A.G Ansari, General Manager, Salal Power Station administered Swachhta Shapath on Tuesday to a large number of employees in the Administrative Block of Power Station at Jyotipuram.
Ansari appealed to all present to be part of ‘Swachh Bharat’ campaign launched by Prime Minister for the benefit of self and nation.
He further advised the employees and their family members to start the campaign from their homes and work places and extend it to their respective localities and towns so that Prime Ministers dream of ‘Clean India’ comes true by 1919.
During the two week drive, Salal Power Station with a view to aware the masses in different groups like employees, their family members and school children shall organise various programmes like display of banners, slogan writing/painting competition among employees and their family members, ‘Nukkad Natak’ by school children etc.
Pertinent to mention that Salal Power Station under the guidance of Ansari, General Manager has been engrossed in the campaign since 2014 and has taken up many a programmes including construction of 153 toilets in government schools located in remote areas of District Reasi.
