SRINAGAR: SVEEP observer for district Srinagar, K. Syama Prasad on Friday convened a meeting of officers to review the progress made under the SVEEP programme in district Srinagar here the other day.
District Election Officer, Srinagar, Farooq Ahmad Shah through Power Point Presentation gave the details of the SVEEP activities in the district.
The DEO informed that awareness programmes were conducted in the education institutions of the district and the participants were made aware about the significance of the participation in the elections. Chief Education Officer Srinagar, Nodal Officer for elections, ROs and AROs attended the meeting.
The SVEEP observer for the district Srinagar stressed for creating more awareness among the electorates to exercise their franchise in the Assembly elections.
