JAMMU: As part of the ongoing Navratra celebrations, Sunil Music Entertainment has released a soul-stirring devotional song titled ‘Mata Meriya’, offering devotees a spiritual experience through music.
The Bhajan has been beautifully composed and sung by Sunil Sharma, popularly known as the Kishore Kumar of Jammu, whose melodious voice continues to captivate audiences across the region.
The powerful lyrics have been penned by renowned writer Inderjeet Kesar, whose contribution to devotional literature is widely recognized. The music for the song has been directed by Piyush Ranjan, while the video has been skillfully shot by Sunny Chouhan (DOP). The final production, including editing, VFX, graphics, and color grading, has been masterfully done by Vinod Gupta, ensuring a visually engaging and devotional feel to the release.
The release ceremony witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, including STATE TIMES Editor-in-Chief, Raj Daluja, senior BJP leaders MLA Yudhvir Sethi, Zorawar Singh, Vikrant, Vinod, and other respected persons from the cultural and political landscape.
The audience was moved by the Bhajan, which invoked blessings from Machel Mata, Vaishno Devi, and Bawe Wali Mata, offering listeners a divine spiritual experience.
Praising the Bhajan release, Raj Daluja congratulated Sunil Sharma and his entire team for presenting such a spiritually enriching composition. He stated that the song ‘Mata Meriya’ not only pays tribute to the divine but also uplifts the cultural and musical identity of Jammu & Kashmir.

He added that such musical offerings during Navratra strengthen the spiritual connect of listeners and serve as an inspiration for emerging artists from the region.
Speaking at the event, Yudhvir Sethi extended heartfelt congratulations to Sunil Kumar and his entire team. He praised their efforts in promoting the rich Dogra culture and language through music.
He also highlighted how Jammu’s youth are making a name for themselves in the music industry, not just artistically but also economically, turning passion into profession.
He emphasized the importance of supporting local talent and preserving the sweetness and strength of the Dogri language.
Sethi encouraged the public to not only listen and appreciate the song but also to share it widely, making Dogri music heard across the nation.
