Summer camp gets underway at JSS Kathua

KATHUA: Week long summer camp being organised by Jammu Sanskriti School (JSS) Kathua, which began from 6th June, got under way in school premises. More than 35 students participated in summer camp.
On the third day of the camp, students started morning session with the practice of yoga. It was instructed by Principal Shuchita Gupta who shared with them the benefits of different Yoga Aasans and the proper way to maintain their postures.
During the camp students are offering lots of activities like dance, music, yoga, skates, karate, computer classes, English speaking classes, fireless cooking classes and number of games and sports activities.
The parents are also involved in summer camp to learn English communication skills with full interest. Principal Shuchita Gupta encouraged parents to enhance such skills to guide their children and motivate them to rise in their lives.
“The main purpose of our summer camp is to develop the children not through books but through physical activities also,” she said adding, “It’s time to recreate, rejuvenate and do the skill oriented activities in abundance”.
