Sufyan to represent India at International level in World Cadet & Junior Fencing Championship

JAMMU: The student of Class XII , Sufyan Waheed Sohil of Dewan Devi Hr. Sec. School has been selected to represent India at International level in World Cadet and Junior Fencing Championship to be held at Plovdiv Bulgaria w.e.f 1st April to 9th April,2023.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sufyan Waheed Sohil is presently under training at IS-NCOE Patiala under Khelo India Scheme since 2018. He already represented UT of Jammu & Kashmir several times at National level and brought medals for UT. This is first time that Sufyan Waheed Sohil is going to represent India at International level in World Fencing Championship in which more than 70 countries are going to participate. The Principal of the school, Seloni Suri congratulates him on his success and wishes him a bright future ahead.
