Successive Govts failed to provide basic amenities: Shiv Sena

JAMMU: Scores of youth impressed by the policies of Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackery on Sunday joined the party fold in the presence of Party’s State Chief Dimpy Kohli.
Kohli welcomed the newly joined entrants in the party fold and advised them to work with honesty, zeal for the betterment of society.
On the occasion, Kohli also nominated Vikas Patel as Press Secretary and Varun Sharma as City President of the party, Sanjeev Gupta, Manoj Katare, Shaminder Saroch, Vishal Sharma, Tarun Sethi, Ashish Sehgal, Sudama Patel, Rohit, Ravi Sharma, Anoop Manhas, Sunil Kumar, Sonil Mehra, Raj Kumar Manik Prashar, Shiv Spoila, Mahinder Balgotra, Pardeep Mahajan, Surinder kumar, Deepak Kumar, Mohit Bhagat, Naveen Bharat as the Members.
Kohli said that successive State Governments have failed to provide basic amenities to the people of the State.
Road network in entire State is in dilapidated condition, power, education and health sector are in shambles, he added.
While giving the example of Bhagwati Bridge on river Tawi, Kohli said that from the very beginning the bridge collapsed from one side causing hardships for passersby. He emphasised that the way one portion of Bhagwati Bridge is collapsing shows concerned building agency has used poor quality of concrete. He said strict action must be taken against the concerned officials who are responsible for collapse of bridge and a detailed inquiry must be initiated in this matter.
