JAMMU: Scores of students on Monday staged protest against the government demanding suspension of SHO Pacca Danga, Inspector Ajay Bhat for manhandling the students who were protesting peacefully at Rehari Chungi seeking cancellation of 12th Class exam.
The agitating students criticised the police authorities for lathi-charge on students. They mentioned that SHO Pacca Danga had badly beaten the students during the protest and also misbehaved with a female student, which is completely unacceptable.
They urged upon the government to take stern action against the erring police official failing which they have no other option to come on roads.
