JAMMU: Students Children of the JK Public School Kunjwani performed skit on ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’.
The participant students played characters of mother, father, brother and sister.
The main focus of this activity was on ‘Save girl child, educate girl child and generate awareness to improve the condition of girl child in our society’. Children also orated that everyone needs a wife, a mother and a sister then why not a daughter. They said that if we educate a woman the whole nation is educated and empowering a woman means empowering the nation. Principal S.K Singh appreciated the acting skills of children and lauded them for their efforts.
