JAMMU: Commerce College Student Union held protest against the Traffic Police demanding strict action against the culprit police officers who were involved in the students’ death in Bhagwati Nagar bridge incident.
Commerce College Unit President, Ankush Rajput said that traffic police failed to stop traffic jam in Jammu city and harass students.
City president National Conference Student Union (NCSU) Shakti Uppal said that to take strict action against the corrupted or irresponsible police officers who were involved in it.
Giving warning to the higher authority, Shakti Uppal said that if they failed to take any action against the police officers then student community will not bear this and start an agitation.
Students present were Vishal Singh Bhau, Mani Gupta, Gorav Rajput, Gorav Sharma, Varun Manhas, Shivam, Vishal Verma, Aditya, Sumanyoo, Deepak Thapa and Sohan Rajput.
