JAMMU: Sports Authority of India (SAI) run Sports Training Centre (STC) Jammu shall be holding two-day selection trials for its Day Boarding and Residential Schemes in four disciplines of Handball, Basketball, Badminton and Wushu at MA Stadium, here from 4th August.
Those eligible candidates have been advised by the selection committee to report at MA Stadium office of the STC between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM on 3rd August for registration purposes.
While candidates in the age group of 12 to 18 year are eligible for Day Boarding, those 10-14 year of age shall be considered for selection in Residential Scheme.
“The basic eligibility criteria for the selection is any of the first three positions at the district and State level in the given disciplines,” Incharge STC Jammu, Varinder Sharma told.
At the time of registration, candidates have to bring along original and attested photocopy of the prescribed documents. The required documents include date of birth certificate, four passport size photographs, residence proof and achievement certificate.
