POONCH: District Development Commissioner M.H Malik held a detailed meeting of various departments and reviewed the status of restoration works under SDRF for infrastructure damage due to flash floods of last year.
Additional District Development Commissioner Arvind Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mumtaz Ali Chowdhary, Assistant Commissioner Development Shokat Mehmood Malik, Chief Planning Officer Mohammad Iqbal Zarger, Executive Engineers of PWD (R&B), PDD and I and FC, CEO and CMO besides several others attended the meeting.
Various departments apprised the District Development Commissioner about the progress achieved so far. Majority of the restoration works have been completed in most of the sectors.
Malik directed the executing agencies to get all the completed works verified by the committee constituted for verification of infrastructure headed by Additional District Development Commissioner.
This committee takes up extensive verification of various works undertaken by departments and certifies their genuineness and costing.
The DDC issued strict instructions to the departments which are yet to complete some restoration works and fixed specific dates for their completion.
