JAMMU: The State youth basketball boys’ team was on Saturday screened by the Sports Council Screening Committee, prior to its participation in the 33rd National Youth Basketball Championship to be held
at Hassan, Karnataka
from 19th-26th November, 2016.
The team comprises Gourva Rajwal, Shashwat Sharma, Abhinav Sharma, Shivam Heer, Prashant Singh, Sumit Kumar, Suryansha Sambyal, Ashish Gowswami, Sudhir Kumar, Hritik Choudhary, Deepak Bharwaj, Rayan Koul.
Aman Sharma, Senior SAI Basketball Coach shall accompany the team as Head Coach.
Earlier, selection committee of the Jammu and Kashmir Basketball Association (JKBA) met under the chairmanship of Amarjet Singh, and announced the final selection. President JKBA, Vikramditya Singh, MLC extended his best wishes for the team.
