JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Tug of War Association on Saturday selected the State teams for the upcoming 29th Senior National and 14th Senior Federation Cup Tug of War (Men and Women) Championship to be held at Sports Complex of Enlightened Group of College, Mansa in Punjab from 5th to 9th September.
The teams were named by the penal of selectors under the guidance of Association President, Hardeep Singh Anand. Others present were Jodh Singh Isher, Secretary; Jasvir Singh, Joint Secretary and Ajay Peshin.
Sourabh Kumar, Kanwal Deep Singh, Gurvinder Kaur, Anam Khan and Gurleen Kaur accompanied the teams as coaches and managers. The teams were also presented playing kits by Hardeep Singh Anand.
TEAMS: (29th Senior Men National U- 640 kg category): Jagdeep Sharma, Kapil Singh, Muddsar, Ritesh Anand, Ishtik, Gaurav Sharma, Nitesh Kumar, Harshit Singh and Raman Kumar. 560 kg (Mix 4 + 4): Gurvinder Kaur, Shriya, Laxmi, Rittu, Samiksha, Sourav, Manoj Kumar, Inder Mohan Singh and Imraz Ahmad Bali.
14th Senior Federation U- 640 kg: Taswinder Singh, Robin, Arshid, Mohd. Mubshar, Yasir Rashid, Zubair Basheer, Jamsheed and Nitish Sharma.
Under-540 kg (Mix 4+4): Menu Choudhary, Parveena, Vishali, Rajni Bala, Ankee, Sohan Lal, Gaurav, Lalit Khajuria and Vishal.
