JAMMU: The 23rd State Thang-Ta Championship concluded at Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex Srinagar with the holding of prize distribution function on Tuesday. The event was organised by J and K Thang-Ta Association and financially sponsored by the J and K State Sports Council. Abid Ashraf of Pampore and Iqra Khursheed bagged champion of the champion titles in men and women sections respectively, reports reaching here said. The prizes were given away by Mehmood Ahmad Shah while Divisional Sports Officer, Mushtaq Ahmad was Guest of Honour.
Earlier, the gathering observed two-minute silence to pray for the souls of Javaid Ahmad Dar, Basit Maqbool and Maliha, who lost their lives in tragic accidents.
