JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir State Jump Rope team registered a peerless victory in the 12th Senior Jump Rope National Championship held at Pondicherry from 31st December 2015 to 3rd January, 2016 by clinching 15 medals including 14 gold and a bronze.
The team was escorted by Coach Bawa Ditta and trained by P.S Manhas Technical Director, Jump Rope Association J and K.
General Secretary of the Association, Dr. Seema Pawan Manhas congratulated Uddit Khullar for creating new record in India in Triple under event.
Joint Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council, Shiv Kumar Sharma also congratulated the victorious team especially Uddit for his brilliant performance in the championship.
Uddit Khullar won gold in Triple Under and Speed 30 Seconds while Navjot Singh, Aman Rai, Ibrar Khan, Mohit in Team Event and Amandeep Kour, Tanu Sharma, Priyanka Kumari and Addil Ahmed bagged gold in Mix Team Event.
Karan Singh secured bronze medal in Endurance 3 Minute.
