JAMMU: State Cross Country team on Wednesday left for participation in the 50th National Cross Country Championship to be held at Balewadi in Pune from 9th January.
Earlier, the selected team of the J and K Athletics Association was screened by the committee meant for the purpose under Joint Secretary of the J and K State Sports Council (JKSCC), Shiv Kumar Sharma.
Among others present were Ravinder Singh, S.S Gill, Sharat Chander Singh, Gurcharan Singh and Vinod Kumar Bhatia.
The Team: Naresh Kumar, Imtiyaz Ahmed, Riyaz Ahmed, Younas Mushtaq and Aryaveer Singh.
