State, Centre failed in all aspects: Bhalla
STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Lambasting the functioning of present government and its ministers, former Minister and Vice President Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC), Raman Bhalla on Sunday said that the time has come to expose the nefarious designs of present government who are hell bent to divide the people on the basis of caste, creed, religion and region to hide their failure and inability to give good governance.
Bhalla was addressing the function organised by Ward Congress Committee Gangyal in Rajiv Gandhi Park at Ward No 56.
The function was organised under the chairmanship of former Corporator of Ward No 56 Gangyal Sateesh Kumar Sharma.
Bhalla said that the present government has failed in toto in all its commitments and promises made during campaign of Assembly elections.
“The slogan of Make in India turned to be break in India,” he said adding that the promises made to border migrants, refugees and other sections of society had been completely ignored and the inexperienced and unethical people are ruling the roost and putting the common people in great trouble and insecurity.
“It was very pity that though the oil prices have come down very low in previous year in the international market and most countries were passing these benefits to their countrymen by lowering the prices of diesel and petrol but in India no such benefits were passed to the common people,” he said.
He further said that the foreign policy of current government has made the common people confused and developed a sense of uncertainty and doubt even in our old age friendly countries.
Even, he said, it seems that there is no foreign policy at all with this government and Prime Minister is only enjoying foreign trips just for his personal publicity.
“Our Prime Minister is always in flight mode and not reachable to common people and the country,” he alleged.
“The works and projects initiated by previous government have come to a sudden halt as soon as the present government took oath and it seems a vendetta to common people as their developmental works and programmes have come to a stand-still,” he mentioned.
Bhalla said that he will leave no stone unturned to expose the mal-functioning of present government and will keep on fighting for the justice and development of public.
On the sidelines of this function blankets and other necessary items were also distributed among poor and needy people.
