JAMMU: Senior athlete and Manager J&K Bank, Rampal Kapoor won gold medal in recently concluded Mumbai Marathon and brought laurel to the State as well as to bank.
Rampal won gold medal under-65 category in Half Marathon held at Mumbai. He clocked one hour, 37 minutes and 52 seconds to cover the distance of 21.097 kilometers and clinch the gold medal.
He was followed by Savio Dsouza who completed the distance in one hour, 38 minutes and 11 seconds and Ajaib Singh, who got bronze medal by completing distance in one hour, 42 minutes and eight seconds.
