JAMMU: In compliance with the Election Commission of India’s directive, the government on Friday transferred of seven police officers. According to an order issued by Home Department, Gurinderpal Singh, SSP Baramulla (AGMUT-2013 IPS officer) has been transferred and posted as Incharge Director of Police Telecommunications; Shobhit Saxena (AGMUT-2015 IPS officer), SSP Kupwara has been posted as SSP (Hqrs) CID; Imtiyaz Hussain Mir (JKPS:1999), SSP (TMG) CID Hqrs has been posted as SSP Srinagar, replacing Ashish Kumar Mishra, IPS, who has been asked to await further postings at Police Headquarters, JK.
Mohd Zaid (JKPS:2001), Commandant JKAP-11 Bn, has been posted as SSP Baramulla; Gh Jeelani Wani (JKPS:2001), Commandant IR-5th Bn, has been posted as SSP Kupwara; Dawood Ayoub (JKPS:2004), SP Handwara, as SSP (TMG) CID Hqrs; and Ifroz Ahmad (JKPS:2004), DyCO IR-5th Bn, has been posted as SP Handwara.
