SSP Leh visits border areas in Nubra

LEH: SSP Leh PD Nitya visited Nubra Sub Division for two days where she was welcomed by the village Namberdars, Sarpanchs, Panchs, & youths of the region.
During the tour, she visited Deskit, Sumur, Panamic, Bogdang and Turtuk villages and conducted inspection of all the under construction projects of Ladakh Police and necessary instructions were given to the concerned contractor and site engineers for timely completion of the projects.
She also checked suitable locations for the establishment of youth clubs in the Nubra Sub Division in consultation with the village representatives.
General interaction was also done with people of Thang village which is the last village near LOC.
At village Turtuk, she conducted PCPG meeting in which public representatives like panch, sarpanch, Namberdars and prominent citizens of the area participated and their grievances were taken note of.
Later, she was invited to Govt Hr. Sec. School Tyakshi were she interacted with the students and teachers and also inaugurated the website of the school felicitating the bright students who have achieved good marks in the current academic year.
While on tour, she directed the concerned SHO and IC PP to adopt people friendly attitude and be at the forefront to resolve people grievances if any in a professional manner.
