SSP launches mobile app FIR for safety of citizens

KATHUA: Sr. Superintendent of Police Kathua Neeva Jain launched Mobile based application for the safety of citizens especially for women and senior citizens during the occasion of inauguration of seven days 4th Women Self Defence Training module at Govt. G.L Dogra Degree College Hiranagar.
SSP Kathua has taken the initiative to launch the mobile based application in the District. Kathua is first District in the J&K where this application is launched. “FIR” (First immediate Response) a free mobile based app is developed by Empire E-Tech solution Pvt. Ltd. available at google Play store, app store (IOS) and windows OS based mobile phone. The user can use this application in case of emergency which triggers immediate response by police. It is a single help button application, once you press the HELP button, the detail of user will be sent to police control room.
The “FIR mobile app launch” was witnessed by huge gathering of college students and employee.SSP Kathua who was chief guest of the function also inaugurated 4th women self defence seven days training. SSP Kathua while addressing the gathering briefed them about need of training to women , young girls to protect themselves from any crime against women.

Dogra Degree College, Dy.SP Deewaker Singh SDPO Border, Sr.PO Rakesh Sambyal, Prof. Daya Vilas Khajuria, Prof. Rakesh, Inspr Naveen Angral, Resource trainers besides 600-650 students for college, Govt. Hr. Sec School Hiranagar and other educational institutions were also present. Naresh Kumar Gupta, Principal Govt. G.L. Dogra Degree College welcome the initiative taken by SSP Kathua and appreciated for organizing such programme in his college.
