RAMBAN: In a series of public meeting, a special meeting with the youth was conducted by SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar. In order to strengthen the police public relations and to bring people especially youth nearer to the police for better output and wipe out social evils from the society, SSP Ramban organised a special meeting with youth at Batote. A good number of youth of Batote area participated in the meeting and raised various social issues.
In his address, SSP Ramban advised the participants to respect the law of land and help the police department in prevention and detection of crime. It was conveyed that District Police taking various programs to prevent the narcotics/ drug menace from the society and special focus on the development of the youth by involving them in sports activities and community issues.
The participants in the meeting were very appreciative of the role of police in the area and ensured to extend every possible support to Police.
The meeting was attended by Abid Magray, Paramjeet Singh, Shamun Mir, Neeraj Paroch, Rashid Malik, Rakesh Sharma, Arshad Salaria, Nishu Gupta Sajjad Malik, Rajesh Kumar, Shafiq Sheikh alongwith many others.
