JAMMU: The awareness regarding hazardous effects of the drug abuse physically, mentally and financially was shared among the students by SSP ANTF Raj Kumar at awareness programme at Girls Higher Secondary School Shastri Nagar, Here on Saturday. About 300 students along with school staff participated in the programnme.
SSP ANTF advised students to stay away from drugs as the use of drug will completely ruin the life and spoil future of the young generation. He asked them to remain away from drugs and utilise spare time in sports activities.
The staff members of the school and students were advised to share information with ANTF J&K if any drug peddler and smugglers is operating in their area for legal action.
Moreover information of drug addicts may be shared with police for their treatment in drug de-addiction centres, he added.
