SRTC Bus service from Bhaderwah to Chamba resumes, people happy

BHADERWAH: After remaining suspended for 6 months due to closure of Bhaderwah-Chamba interstate Highway, SRTC Bus service from JK’s Bhaderwah to Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba resumed here.
The bus service was flagged off from Bhaderwah to Chamba by DDC Chairman Doda Dhananter Singh Kotwal in presence of Ex MLA Dalip Singh Parihar, District General Secretary Sanjay Saraf and others from Seri Bazaar Bhaderwah.
It is notable that this was a long pending demand as people of both areas were eagerly waiting for this bus service. It was started last year in September but after 2 months the service was got suspended in view of closure of Interstate Bhaderwah-Chamba highway due to snowfall. According to reports, the bus will run on daily basis from Bhaderwah to Chamba in Himachal Pradesh. Ex MLA Dalip Singh Parihar and DDC Chairman Doda Dhananter Singh Kotwal said that it will act as a game changer for tourism sector of Bhaderwah. People were very happy on resuming of this much needed service for the convenience of masses as people of both areas are connected with each other.
