SRS asks GoI to stop trade with Pakistan
STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Expressing serious concern over the recovery of huge cache of arms and ammunition concealed in a truck carrying goods from Chakoti, Muzafarabad in Pakistan occupied Kashmir to help Pakistan-based terrorists to launch attacks in the Jammu and Kashmir, State President, Shri Ram Sena (SRS), Rajiv Mahajan asked Government of India to stop trade with Pakistan as when you talk of trade vis-a-vis the country’s security safety comes first, trade with Pakistan comes second.
“Such incident is in gross violation of the State policy of prohibition on trade in ‘third-party origin goods’ through this mechanism and information indicated that these funds are being used for fomenting terrorism and separatism in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said in a statement issued on Wednesday.
Rajiv Mahajan said, “India has always showed patience, but now a time has come that the message should be given to Pakistan that enough is enough.”
Trade, Rajiv Mahajan said, cannot take place when there is no trust and because of terror incidents happening very often, the trust level of Pakistan is very low. “Trade with Pakistan can start only if they start behaving like a good neighbour,” he said adding that India should stop trade and all other relations with Pakistan unless they take any positive step to stop terrorism in the Jammu and Kashmir State.
“What is use of good relation with such country which is always conspiring and eager to kill our people?” questioned Rajiv Mahajan.
Asking Central Government to stop Karvan-e-Aman bus, Rajiv Mahajan said trade with Pakistan and visits through Karvan-e-Aman bus have no mean till Pakistan stops proxy war and cross border firing.
