SRMWC installs idol of Nandi at Ranbireshwar temple

JAMMU: Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee (SRMWC) and Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust on Sunday installed idol of Bhagwan Shri Nandji here at Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Shalamar Road.
Rajesh Gupta MLA Jammu East accompanied by Dharmarth Trust Secretary Shashi Khajuria also joined the installation ceremony. Members of SRMWC including Onkar Sharma, Anubhav Suri, Mandeep Sharma, Suresh Sharma, Raj Kumar Gupta, Nagarmal Gupta, Advocate Kapil Sharma, Rameshwar Sharma, Arpit Abrol, Advocate Jyoti Sarup Mishra, Rajinder Magotra, Sanjeev Dogra and Dolly Abrol were present in the Murti Sthapna ceremony.
Prayers were offered by senior priests Pandit Raghubir Shastri, Pandit Krishan Shastri and Pandit Som Shastri.
Rajesh said that Jammu is a blessed city with the presence of several temples and also the starting point of Vaishno Devi Yatra, Shri Amarnath Yatra, Shiv Khori Yatra, Maachil Mata Yatra and many other places of reverence and worship.
He said that we must give good Sanskars to our children so that they develop into law abiding and productive citizens of this great nation.
“Those who demean the privileges this nation offers to its citizens need to seriously do some soul searching and introspection. India is the fastest growing economy in the world today and gives opportunities to every individual to grow and prosper”, he maintined.
