SRINAGAR: The 13th District Srinagar Official Taekwondo Championships, organised by Taekwondo Association of Srinagar, concluded with valedictory function at Indoor Hall, Polo Ground, here on Tuesday.
Divisional Sports Officer of the J&K Sports Council (JKSC), Muzaffar Hussain Wani was chief guest, who along with Rouf Ahmed Bhat (Under Secretary Department of Forest) felicitated the medal winners.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest, congratulated those medallists and applauded the efforts of J&K Taekwondo Association (JKTA).
The event took place under the guidance of Nissar Hussain (vice president JKTA) and Junaid Mayer Qasba (secretary, Taekwondo Association of Srinagar.
Among others who were present Nishant Singh Jamwal, Goutam Shukla, Chander Shekhar, Mohd Amin, Dr. Akbar Khan and Tariq Lone.
Meanwhile, the organising team felicitated Sultan (a para athlete) and Sadia Tariq.
The technical team was led by Master Atul Pangotra (International Referee, WT). The referee penal included Rohit Sharma, Suhail Khan, hah Faiq, Musadiq, Faizan Ahmad, Tanveer, Adeeba, Aqib Gulzar, Suhail Ahmed and Anees Bhat.
