SRINAGAR: Pencak Silat District Srinagar Championship, organised by District Srinagar Pencak Silat Association and sponsored by J&K Sports Council (JKSC), got underway at Pologround Indoor Sports Complex, here on Saturday. The event is part of the ongoing special sports initiative My Youth My Pride. Around 285 athletes from different schools and clubs are participating in four different age groups. The event declared open by Divisional Sports Officer of JKSC, Nusrat Gazala, who was Chief Guest.
