SRINAGAR: District Srinagar Kho-Kho Championship, organised by the district body under the aegis of J and K Kho-Kho Association and sponsored by State Sports Council, got underway at SP Higher Secondary School Ground on Tuesday. As per a handout issued here, four matches were decided in different categories of junior boys, junior girls and senior boys.
In junior boys’ category, Scotland Institute beat SP Higher Secondary while Iqbal Mission Brain trounced Scotland in junior girls group. Similarly, in senior event, Rebal Sports Academy beat SP Higher Secondary while girls match was won by ACME Sports Academy beating SP Higher Secondary.
Earlier, the competition was declared open by Principal of SP Higher Secondary School, Afisa.
