JAMMU: Spring Blossom’s Public School celebrated Annual Day at the Auditorium of Government Women College, Gandhi Nagar, here.
Additional Director General of Police Dilbag Singh was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Principal, Government Medical College, Jammu, Ghanshyam Dev Gupta presided over the function and Additional Secretary to Government Higher Education Department, Charandeep Singh was the Guest of Honour.
Personnel Officer, Directorate of School Education, Jammu, Prem Singh Chib and Dr. Sudhir Mahajan were Special Guests on this occasion.
The function started with lighting of the lamp. The Chief Guest and all the guest members along with the Principal paid rich tributes to late Sudagar Shah, founder of the School.
Dilbag said that school and teachers have a great responsibility on their shoulders as they have to mould the students personality not for their future only but for the enrichment and betterment of the society, nation and humanity too.
Ghanshyam distributed the mementoes and awards to the meritorious students and who brought laurels in the field of sports and culture as well. He expressed their best wishes for the future achievement and heights in the various field related to education. Children also presented colourful cultural programme.
Principal of the School, Divya Gupta presented the vote of thanks.
