JAMMU: J and K State Sports Council (JKSSC) has invited applications from eligible sportspersons for two-month ‘special certificate course’ under Prime Minister’s package at National Institute of Sports (NIS) Patiala in Punjab.
The applications should reach the office of the Sports Officers (Jammu and Srinagar) on or before August 25. The course is in the disciplines of athletics, basketball, boxing, badminton, cricket, football, fencing, gymnastics, hockey, handball, health and fitness, judo, kabaddi, kho-kho, table tennis, volleyball, weightlifting, Wushu and yoga.
The minimum educational qualification for the course is 10+2 with one of the first three positions in the state level sports competitions.
