UDHAMPUR: The State’s sports carnival under Khelo India scheme began at block level under rural sports competitions in several blocks of district Udhampur on Tuesday.
Thousands of participants from different villages of all blocks of Udhampur District are taking part in the event.
Vice Chairman Udhampur Sports Council, Rahil Gupta said the block level competitions would be held in sports disciplines including athletics, boxing, volleyball, etc.
Rahil, while interacting with budding sportspersons, assured full support to them so that they can make the district, State and country proud.
Incharge MA Stadium Jammu Ashok Singh, Incharge Udhampur Stadium Shaktish Chopra and others were also
present.
