JAMMU: Sports Authority of India (SAI) shall conduct two-day trials for induction in its Day Boarding Scheme in the disciplines of football and basketball at Mini Stadium, Parade, here from 15th December.
Trials shall be conducted in the boys’ football and basketball (boys and girls) disciplines in the age groups between 14-18 years. The candidates should have represented district in state level championship or state in any recognized national level championship so as to become eligible for the selection.
Those interested players have been advised to report at given venue (Mini Stadium, Parade) along with original certificates of participation and age proof on 15th December at 9:00 AM sharp.
“On induction, the inmates of the SAI Day Boarding Schemes, become eligible for cash scholarships besides sports kit, sports consumables and other facilities as admissible,” Coordinator and senior SAI coach in the State told.
