JAMMU: Part of the ongoing Adventure Camp at Apple Kids School, Bantalab, here, a sport climbing competition held today on the sixth day of the event wherein all the 75 campers took part and exhibited their skills.
While students of the host school swept all the medals, those campers from G.D Goenka School, BSF School Paloura, Presentation Convent and St. Xavier Senior Secondary School gave them a good fight. The competition was conducted by Anil Kumar, a sport climbing coach, Isha Singh and Poonam Mishra, both teachers of the school. Secretary Indian Mountaineering Foundation North Zone Committee and a national judge of the game, Ram Khajuria was chief guest who remained present during the full period of the competition and keenly watched the performance of the budding climbers. Detailed Results: Himalayan Group: Daksh, Ist; Vaibhav, 2nd and Saniksha, 3rd. Everest Group: Rajveer, Ist; Anmol, 2nd and Kashish, 3rd. Tenzing Group: Aditya Singh, Ist; Aryan Chandel, 2nd and Akhilesh, 3rd. Shivalik Group: Ritesh, Ist; Vaibhav, 2nd and Rahul, 3rd.
