JHAJJAR KOTLI: Police on Monday arrested two narcotic smugglers and recovered 1.30 kg Charas from their possession.
According to a report, a party of Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO Hilal Azhar under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan and SP Rural Rajiv Pandey under the close supervision of SSP Jammu Uttam Chand during Naka at Saketar Domail arrested two narcotic smugglers Mohd Shafi Sheikh son of Abdul Gani Sheikh resident of Kowbagh Ramban and Mohd Rafi Dar son of Abdul Gani Dar resident of Village Tiringa Mahore District Reasi and recovered 1.30 Kgs of Charas from their possession.
A case under FIR No. 56/2015 section 8/20/29/NDPS was registered and investigation was taken up.
Mohd Rafiq is SPO in Police Department and is presently posted in Ramban District and Mohd Shafi has been recently released from jail after spending eight years there in an NDPS case of Police Station Chanderkote Ramban.
