Special Summer Kabaddi camp at Srinagar concludes

SRINAGAR: Special Summer Kabaddi Camp, jointly organised by J&K Amateur Kabbadi Association and J&K Sports Council (JKSC) under ‘My Youth My Pride’, came to an end on Tuesday with closing function at SKISC, here.
Both J&K Amateur Kabbadi Association and JKSC organized well attended grand closing ceremony of the camp wherein Secretary JKSC, Nuzhat Gul was Chief Guest. She expressed satisfaction with the camp’s outcome, saying, “We are proud of the progress made by the players and look forward to seeing them excel in future competitions.”
She also distributed certificates to the players. Divisional Sports Officer Kashmir, Nusrat Gazala and Divisional Sports Officer (Central), Javid Ur Rehman were among other prominent present. These officers of the views that camp was a resounding success, and would encourage the participants to aim higher.
In the meantime, Secretary Amateur Kabbadi Association Srinagar, Gulzar Ahmad; secretary Kabaddi Association Budgam, Nazir Ahmad; secretary Kabaddi Association Ganderbal complimented the participants and the technical staff for the commitment.
Chief Coach Anil Sharma; assistant coach Firdous Rather and fitness trainee, Arshid Rather (J&K Police) conducted sessions on technical skills, physical conditioning, and tactical awareness during the camp. The camp fostered a competitive spirit, teamwork, and sportsmanship among participants.
Later, players, especially those who attended the camp, thanked Secretary JKSC, Nuzhat Gul and general secretary of the Association, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta for the initiative.
