SUNDERBANI: On directions of SSP Traffic, Mohan Lal Kaith, DTI Joginder Singh along with his team laid a special Naka near Model Academy Kalideh Sunderbani on Sunday to check traffic violations besides booking the violators.
SSP Traffic has received a number of complaints from villagers, Panchs and Sarpanch of Bhajwal area alleging that workers of a brick kiln in Kalideh ferry bricks and other raw materials through old vehicles, without any proper document or driving license. They further alleged that these vehicles create a lot of smoke and dust thereby polluting the area, in absence of any checking.
Acting on complaints, a special checking Naka was established to book the violators of MV Act. The brick kiln owner was directed to refrain from using old vehicles, adding that all such vehicles would be seized, if found plying on roads without proper documents.
