JAMMU: Special Children of Asha School participated in the Annual Sports Day Meet with enthusiasm and sportsman spirit at Jammu Cantonment, on Wednesday.
Chairperson, Family Welfare Organisation of Tiger Division, Usha Singh gave away Certificates of Excellence to winners.
Participants were divided into Junior and Senior groups. Principal, Asha School, Suman Mathur supervised and trained the students in games based on fun and learn theme.
Running race, lemon- spoon race, set your block, puzzle race, ball in bucket and musical chair were conducted.
The children of Asha School, despite being intellectually disabled, showed a commendable will to be self- reliant.
